Timber Wolf Golf Club is in Kalkaska on M-72, just 6 miles east of 131. This puts us in a great location, which is just between Traverse City and Grayling. We are your “on-the-way” destination!

The course offers a beautiful 18-hole championship design that, at just $35 for 18 holes with a cart at prime time, deserves consideration as Northern Michigan’s best golf value! What folks have to understand is that what you see from the road as you are driving to the course (or, as many people will do – drive by on the way to Traverse City) is not what you get! Our motto at Timber Wolf Golf Club is to give you more than what you paid for.

Timber Wolf delivers over 120 rolling acres with large modern greens which are expertly maintained. The course looks fairly flat and open from the road, but those few holes that are visible from Highway 72 are perhaps the only ones that are not tree-lined or incredibly rolling. Contoured fairways play to modern-style green complexes, with large undulating bent-grass putting surfaces. Vast elevation changes and awesome views are pleasant to the senses. This is what golfing in Northern Michigan is all about.
